1944 British and German

My British force comprises the following:

3 INFANTRY BNS (including HQ vehicles, carriers and AT guns) (all figures complete, some vehicles not done)
BRIGADE HQ (not started)
PARA BN (figures cleaned ready for painting)
AIRLANDING BN (figures cleaned, some airborne guns and jeeps to buy)
ARMOURED BN (HAT Shermans, in progress)
MOTOR COY (not started)
CHURCHILL SQUADRON (FOV diecast)
TYPHOON GROUNDATTACK AIRCRAFT (not yet bought)

The prognosis is good for getting this force finished shortly with a concerted effort.

My German '44 Kampfgruppe.....grew out of me collecting a few diecast vehicles of my favourite tanks. The good thing about German stuff is that you can throw almost anything together and call it a battlegroup as this was the adhoc way the Germans fought. So I have given in to the inevitable and added some figures. Here is my planned force:

1 INFANTRY BN in greatcoats (Chiltern, figures cleaned ready. Needs more MMGs)
1 INFANTRY BN in zeltbahns (Raventhorpe, not yet bought)
1 FALLSCHIRMJAGER BN (This is an option, probably Kelly's Heroes)
1 AT COY (pak 40)
1 PANZERGRENADIER COY (not started)
PANTHER TANK COY (not bought)
PANZER IV COY (Altaya diecast)
STUG III COY (not bought)
TIGER 1E COY (Dragon diecast)
RECCE UNIT (Altaya Pumas)
TRANSPORT COLUMN (various plastic kits, not yet made!)

I plan to add a FW 190 Airplane equipped for ground attack when I can find a kit.

The above is a basic group of units that could be used anywhere from Normandy onwards. Options for expansion would be:
1 EXTRA INFANTRY BN (to make a complete regiment)
REGIMENTAL ARTILLERY BATTERY (inf guns or 120mm mortars)
NEBELWERFER ROCKET ARTILLERY BATTERY
ENGINEER UNIT

Another option might be to add a few of the interesting conversions of ex-French AFVs to make a specific unit (21st Panzer Division)
